Hi I started back calorie counting last Monday I weight 167 lbs this morning
I weighed myself and I weigh 162lbs so I have had a 5lb loss I know you loss
More weight on the frist week but this time I want it to be for good so iam going
To up my calories from 1500 to 1640 because I want to loss it slower so it stays
Off for me 1640 calories is the number I need to maintain my weight if I was 140 lbs
Which is where I want to be gas anyone else Done this

I think it is always best to eat as much as you possibly can while still ending up in a calorie deficit causing weight loss. That way if things slow down later on, you can easily cut more calories without worrying about "am I eating enough?"
That said, do you know what your maintenance level is right now? I would determine what your maintenance (TDEE) calorie level is and take 20% off of that number and eat those many calories to lose weight at a comfortable pace. It's hard to know if the number you came up with is appropriate or not without knowing what your TDEE is.0 -
Hi my TDEE at 162 lbs with no exercise is 1702 so does that mean I can eat 1702 and still lose weight also if I do earn some exercise calories should I have all or some of them plus my 1702 :0
