weight gain after hip surgery ... not happy!

So, I had my labrum repaired, and my gluteus repaired 10 and a 1/2 weeks ago...still recovering, but have gain 10 lbs. I have not been mobile except for the use of crutches, which were taken away a week ago today. I have gained this weight due to the non-movement, and medication, I'm sure...I just want it off right now! Feeling a bit depressed!

    You're level of activty has likely gone done pretty significantly. Has your calorie intake gone down accordingly?

    no, stayed the same.....still..my minds thinking if I have to have another surgery...I'm thinking that I can't due to the possibility of weight gain again...
