There's no miracle solution. Eat at a calorie deficit.0

Sensible calorie deficit, patience, exercise that you enjoy, more patience.0

If one eats too many of them, I'll bet they don't slim that person.
At almost 200 calories a bar, a couple or more a day adds up.

Agreed. If they are part of a reasonable diet, then yes they can work (but it's more the "reasonable diet" that's working than it is the bars themselves).0 -
Work at what? They don't possess magical properties.0

It’s no secret – eat less food, especially at dinner. Sounds simple, right? It is, until you get hungry. That’s where Slimful™ chews can help. One tasty, 90-calorie Slimful™ chew and a glass of water satisfies hunger for hours, which enables you to eat less – which can help you reach your weight loss goal.
Do they "work" at helping to curb the hungry feeling??0 -

This is as much mental as it is physical, if not more. Drink something and keep yourself busy if you need to get your mind off things.0 -
I guess these things "work" by expanding in your stomach to make you feel full. I think you could achieve the same result by drinking water, and it will save you $$ from buying the full bars. I tried full bars a few years back, they were so disgusting that it would take me too long to eat one and it would negate the effect of expansion in my stomach.0

To answer the question you asked, yes. Now let me explain. They are good as a once a day "snack", in that they taste good and are filling so I don't feel hungry anymore until the next meal. When I've used them, I count the calories and macros as I would any other food. I've used this to replace one snack a day, and it serves the purpose.
They do not, however, cause you to lose weight. In that respect, I agree with previous posters. Good luck!0 -
GNC Lean Bars are better with 15 gr of protein and 10 gr of fiber and only 22 carbs!! blueberry yogurt is killer!0

If by 'work' you mean taste like a Sham-Wow, then yes0

I used them for an *intro to breakfast*. I don't want to eat when I get up. I used to skip breakfast, but was very hungry at the end of the day. I started eating a bar on the way to work and it really helped. I've moved on to a bigger, balanced breakfast now. They have their place.0

The best, proven way to reduce hunger is to increase your protein in take.
Of course, you must do this while maintaining a calorie deficit.0
