I recently lost 16lbs very quickly due to illness. I'm still quite poorly and am slowly losing more weight.

I'm struggling to eat more than around 700 calories a day, and cannot really exercise.

Finally have an appointment with a gastro specialist on Sept 3rd after ten weeks of this, so hopefully i'll be able to to eat a little more and exercise some after a diagnosis and treatment.

I've never really actively tried to lose weight before, i've always been happy to be big. So, any advice and support welcome!

Sorry this seems a bit doom and gloom! I'm friendly and kind, honest!

    Welcome!

Good luck with the weight loss. It is very difficult. I hope you can loose all you want the healthy way.

Hopefully they can find why you are losing. You can then turn it to the healthy way

Please do not take this as a criticism--I read that as 5 ft. tall and weigh 1,230 lbs. You just lost 1,000 pounds in a matter of seconds! I just thought it was funny. Sorry. Warped humor.

I do hope you get to the bottom of what is ailing you, and you are able to take off real pounds in a healthy manner. Good luck!

Sorry you have been feeling poorly, hope you get a diagnosis soon.

When I had glandular fever a few years ago I lost a lot of weight quickly and lost my appetite and struggled to eat enough. I found complan meal replacement drinks were quite handy during this time as they have vitamins and minerals in and also help up your calories. You can add whole milk to the mix to up the calories if you can manage milk.
