To girls with big butts

Your pant size might be lying about the size of your waist. I was a size 11 with a nice round butt. I was 150 and 5'2. It occured to me recently that my butt was the only reason I was a size 11 a not a size 9 or even a 7. These were jeans from kohls by the way. My butt sticks out pretty far and in the right dress it looks huge!

Its true! Lol. I used to have to buy jeans that were at least a size or two, too big just to fit that junk. But then my jeans would totally sag in front ( showing my underwear, if I didbt wear a belt.) Huuuge frustration. But now Im fat and my belly caught up! LOL its shrinking though. I can honestly say, I dont think I will mind as much.0

yeah, i was 140, wearing a size 10 with a size 6 waist :-/ not the biz0
-
I am in size 18 because of my hips/bootie. Even at my smallest I was still wearing a 12.0

You guys can add me as a friend if you want.0

Totally agree with you. Let's not even start talking about designer jeans. I feel so fat every time I try on a pair. You can definitely tell a difference when you buy skirts/dress in 1-2 sizes smaller than jeans and pants.0

The worst jeans for me to have work are Old Navy jeans, I am like..."seriously!?" and when I find a pair that works, they shrink like no other (and I don't dry them in a dryer). I like the Arizona Jeans at JCPennys because they just fit so well.0 -
I guess this also goes for guys too actually. Some guys have nice butts :laugh:0

Have you tried Old Navy's sweetheart cut? They are very flattering for curvier body shapes with smaller waists.0

Well, I'm not very well off with money, most jeans i've gotten are on sales racks and stuff. I do really like how those elevens looked though so I'm not too worried about it, but now I know its something to keep in mind. When I think I wear the biggest pants out there, I can think, I'm not really a 3x, but my butt is. haha0 -
Yes, I could wear a smaller size based just on waist size, but pants need to go over my butt and hips. I can wear an 8 or 10 in skirts and dresses, but that's not happening for jeans.0

Old Navy Sweetheart are the best! They're the only ones that really fit me. They have sales all the time on jeans - just keep an eye out and you can likely get them for $15. They also last a long time.0 -
Yup, I'm with you! I'm tall (5'10) so there are very few brands of pants that fit me because I need the length also, so I stick with those. Lately Eddie Bauer's curvy fit are the best for me. I stock up at the outlets ... and I have like 3 pairs in the next size down that I got on crazy sale at the outlets on Black Friday last year, which I still don't fit into. :noway:0

Yep! My bootie gets in the way, I've managed to find jeans i like, however cannot find for the life of me a pair of running pants that I like, and I hate shorts. When I'm running the butt just kind of tries to jiggle them off, lol, I spend half my time trying to hike them up. What I hate most about it, is the hips that go along with the badonkadonk0

I have that issue with boobs. I have to get shirts bigger so they do up at the front and the buttons don't have gaping holes between them but then they are frumpy looking. Luckily I can sew but having to alter all my shirts is a pain!0
-
I have the same problem especially with dress shirts. Try dress shirts that are tailored cut. They make a world of a difference. Also, wearing the right size bra helps.0
-
I have to wear old navy sweethearts too! My butt is HUGE compared to my waist! I loved the dreamers, but they stopped making them!0
-
Like the previous two, boob issue here...
I wish some of that fat would gravitate to my backside.0 -
THIS!!! No matter how much weight I lose, I could still have a decent badonka-donk; it's ridiculous. Jeans will fit snuggly around my legs, but not my butt; fit snuggly around my butt, but not my legs. It's a constant battle to find nice pants. :sad:0

I like my big butt and I cannot lie. Also I love the curvy fit Levi's.0

hey everyone - i too have this problem - my waist is so small compared to my butt/thighs - always having to buy the bigger size to fit the butt - and then of course u have the puckered out back or the sag in the front -
i finally after all these years - found out that they can do whats called darting - u will want to remember this word lol - u take it to a tailor - some places like the buckle do it for free - with a pair of their jeans - (which rock revival blingy jeans are my fav by the way) anyways - if u want to even bring your used jeans to a alterations place - like stitch it - in alot of malls - im also short so while i get them hemmed - i also get them darted and whoala - those jeans hug all my curves lol0 -
That's why I buy most of my jeans at the swap meet. They are kinda cheap but super strechy! Lol0
-
Same problem here- Ann Taylor loft the julie fit is made for smaller waist big hips! It has worked well for me and they have frequent sales.0
-
Have you guys tried J.Lo's line at Kohls? I'm addicted to her clothes because their cut for pear shapes like mine. It is hard to find bottoms that fit nicely though, but I wouldn't trade my butt for anything. I have big old boobs and a big old butt and I love both of them0
-
Well, I have never had that problem. In fact if I get the wrong pants, they are horribly saggy in the rear. It looks like I dropped a Duce back there...lol I would love to have a bigger butt...lol0
-
Jeans have never fit me for this reason.
I'm a 3/4 if it were up to my waist, but a 5/6 has a hard time getting past my hips.
I did recently find a pair at a thrift shop that fit perfectly. They must have been worn in by a fellow big-bootied girl.0 -
I have the "boob problem" too, typically when I run. I also have that problem with shorts, unless I buy unflattering man shorts, I cant wear shorts. It feels like my cheeks will just pop out LOL.And as far as running goes, I usually wear tank tops in summer when I run ( super hot out here) and as I run, I seriously feel like when ppl pass me driving ( its pretty desolate, but theres usually a few cars) they are staring at my boobs.0

I'm 5'11 and HATE jeans! I've just started wearing dresses and skirts...more comfortable and I don't have to figure it all out. 40" booty, 27" waist. How do you fit THAT?!0
-
Feel free to add me too....I'm in the same boat y'all are all in...small waist, big booty...lol! So glad that I am not fighting with this alone...Buying clothes can be a pain....I am 5'1' to top it off....LOL! I will not lie I am so thankful to be shaped like this but I am in that needs improvement mode....Any support is welcomed and any support needed I'm here for ya!!0
