Water log

Hi
I log my water every day but i feel like I am guessing the measurements - does one cup mean an actual cup measurement or does it mean a glass of water no matter what size the glass is?
Does anyone know what myfitnesspal's measurement of one cup of water actually is or where I can find the information out please?
Thanks
Lialev

It's the measurement, 8 cups.
Or 1.9 liters in metrical.0 -
It's also based on a 1945 study that was descriptive, not prescriptive, and that indicated that half or more of the water folks were getting was from the food and other beverages they were consuming, which was fine.0

^^ This. I have a water bottle with the measurements printed on the side. It holds 24 oz, so I try to drink at least two during the work day. I usually drink 1/2 to another bottle while working out, and at least another 2 cups with dinner. I also drink tea and coffee.0 -
That's really helpful! Thank you!!!0
