COMPRESSION GARMENTS

Hey Battle Buddies. And before I say this I just want you to know they have compression garments for men also.Anyway, I ordered a compression waist garment from a company called. "Squeem" They specialize in reshaping and contouring your body. So pleased that I have also ordered a full body garment (waiting for it's arrival now). I have not stopped working ou,t I wear the garment as advised for up 8 to 10 hrs a day currently I'm at about 7-8 hrs per day and I've had it for 5 days now. This garment is rubber and cotton and really compresses you. When you move around it gets warm/hot and makes you sweat which it's meant to do. They say you can lose an additional 1 to 4 lbs per month just wearing this garment daily. Now, this is not a tool to use and not continue my exercise regimne (sp?) You still have to exercise and watch your food intake. I have continued to exercise and maintain my diet while wearing this garment. I must say it does wonders for my lower back, it's like a constant massage! I would just like to know if any of you have heard of this company or companies like this and what you think about it. I happen to love love love it! Once I put the garment on the difference in my shape was imendiate, I was like WOW!!! I also have a few friends who have purchased these garments and swear they are a god send! Hence the reason behind me making a purchase. One friend was very heavy 324lbs. She on her own found a squeem distributor and consulted with her. I was so amazed to find she has lost a very considerable amount of weight, she now weighs 202 and her body had totally been resulpted and contoured, she looks fabulous. I personally am very pleased with the garment and do intend to purchase other items as my weightloss progress'es. I think it's a great tool and aids greatly in holding you in and and firming you up as you progress along your journey. Just felt like sharing this with all of you. So let me know what you think!

Vanilla30 Never heard of it but to me when you add things like this and can see results, I say do the darn thing as long as you still doing your weekly exercise and healthy eating.

auntiemsgr8 I've never heard of it. Honestly I would think the weight would be water weight. But at the end you stated it helps to firm you as you lose. This would be quite helpful if it really worked that way. Not sure how an undergarmet can change your body shape. I would think only the calorie control and exercise would do that. But what do I know.

Exqitblkprl Thanks ladies for your responses. I'm no rocket scientist either but I have seen first hand where the compression part of this garment does indeed have an effect on how your body looks. If you can recall or have ever watched Extreme Makeover. A few techniques used were compression garments after liposuction or weight loss. In my opinion and this is just my opinion. I too believe what you lose wearing this garment is water weigh because of the sweating. I'm not saying it's some miracle garb that makes you lose weight just like that. However, I do believe that it aids in losing inches while you carry on with your diet and exercise routine. The different to me is you are constanly wearing this garment while your losing weight not after the weight is lost. I'm a big girl at my heaviest I weighed 287lbs. that's alot of sretched skin. This compression garment greatly aids in holding and reshaping. It's no different than the corsettes women used to obtain those hour glass figures they so desire. We all know wearing corsettes totally rehapes your midsection, well that's the same with the compresson garments. These things do work but not alone you have to do your part also. The first time I put the garment on I saw an immediate slimming effect. This isn't a sales pitch by no means, what works for some doesn't work for others. I'm thrilled with it and just wanted other view points of those who may know of or have used these garments. As stated prior. I have friends whom have worn these garments so I've seen them before and after and believe me the after effect is jaw dropping. It's fabulous what wearing these items can do to the body. Let me also add that this isn't a simple undergarment made from spanx or spandex or some light weight material. This is made from rubber and cotton, it's not a pull on piece. There are two rows of hook and eyes just like a bra. You get a small workout in itself just putting it on ( it get much easier over time).
