    HI Everyone!

    Started back in February and lost 30 pounds up to May....then it all went to heck!
    Just got tired of counting everything. Have gained 8 pounds back and am starting again today....
    Would like to lose another 60 lbs. sigh!!!

    Hi all,
    Just recently joined MFP and still trying to understand how it all works! Can anyone give me a primer on how "exercise calories burned" enter into all this? Have lost 5.6 lbs so far but I think I could be doing better if I got a handle on how this came together. I usually have 250-450 calories left at the end of the day after I add in my cardio.
