I went out for a bike ride tonight in 91 degree weather with a heat index of 95 and I rode 10 miles! And, I'm still here to tell you about it!!!!! I am one who hate hate hates heat and humidity and will not go out of the house in the summer. But I've discovered biking and nothing can stop me now! Well, except for the horrible seat.... still trying to find one I like that doesn't hurt like you know what!

    When you find that miracle bike seat, please let me know! I've recently discovered bike riding again and its been a great way to burn some major calories while having fun, but my bum and lady parts hate me about 5 miles in. I bought a fancy (or so I thought!) Schwin bike seat for about $25, and it's not cutting it for the longer rides :)

    I bought one at Target for $25 with a bigger seat. It was ok but thought maybe I needed a skinnier one so bought one from Scheels that the sales guy raved about and well, he must like to torture women is all I can say. Luckily they have a 30 day try it and see policy so I can take that one back. Will go back to my big butt seat I guess! LOL

    Check out Terry at http://www.terrybicycles.com. She makes saddles specifically for women but she also carries a line of men's saddles. I have the Terry Fly and I really like it.
