Hiya, count me in. I've never done yoga before but heard lots of good comments about it.

I've got 2 yoga dvds that bought over a year ago and still haven't done them, don't know how long they last for - might be less than 1hr, but anything is better than nothing.

    60 minutes every day??

    Alright then:

Out of interest, wouldn't you start to ache quite a lot if you did it every day for 60 minutes? Some of the asanas are quite easy but others are more of a challenge even doing the basic sun salutation in a loop for 60 minutes which is going to hit the shoulders and chest quite hard.

Might want to post this on the yoga groups:
    the big one:

    another one:

I pretty much do yoga everyday anyway - usually 10-14 hours a week, but will gladly join.

I'm so glad to have you join ladies! Welcome!

yoginimary - I will certainly post the challenge to those groups :)

darrensurrey - Yes, 60 minutes per day, or 30 60-minute sessions in the month if need be. Will you be sore? Yes. But it's a challenge, and a challenge like this is more than physical. And like any other activity, if it hurts stop. Adjust and modify the technique. The wonderful thing about yoga is that if something doesn't feel right to your body there is always a way to modify it safely.

Fair point. Good luck with the challenge! :)

I'm not sure I'm up to doing 60 minutes of it daily as I've never completed one minute HOWEVER I am interested in learning yoga. Could anyone recommend a video or youtube or something to get me started? I'm already doing 30DS, but maybe 10-15 minutes of yoga a day could be added in? I'm really not too sure.

I'm not sure i like yoga, never given it a good shot, but need to improve flexibility, so will give it a go. I may need to modify to 30mins a day though, and work up to an hour :)

I have never done yoga, but quite like the idea of it.

Sounds fun! I just started doing yoga again recently, so I think I'd enjoy this challenge to get me back in the swing of it.
