At what resistance setting of the elliptical can I burn 300 cals in 35 mins? I don't trust the machines, but the estimate of MFP doesn't include the level of intensity....

I run intervals, two minutes at 4 elevation and 1 resistance and then two minutes at 10 elevation and 8 resistance for 35 minutes. I burn 350 calories. I always watch and push to make sure I am doing about 10 calories per minute.
Hope that helps! (also, I make about 3 miles on average during that time)0 -
I do 9 resistance for the whole 30 mins which is 10 cals a min. I think it is at 2.25 miles at the end usually.0

I usually do level 2 elevation and level 3 resistance for 30 minutes and burn 300 calories so for 35 minutes you might burn more0

I alternate on all levels of resistence. I will run on the higher levels and take it down to 1 or 2 for a minute slow down and hike it up and run again. I burn 200-215 in 20 mins.0

I do 8 resistance, just under 10 cals a minute I think?0

8-10 elevation and 8-12 resistance intervals is what I typically do.
This usually seems to burn between 10-12 calories per minute, depending on my speed.
