Why are you cutting out all carbs? Is there a medical reason? If there isn't, there is no reason to cut out carbs. They are good and healthy, and necessary for you.0

Actually its all those carbs which make me fat every time! Rice, breads pasta...all these are my supper fav and whenever i cut them..The results are more dangerous! ...here the whole grain products, brown breads aren't that available..so i can't even have them to substitute!0

No they weren't. Carbs didn't make you fat. Eating too many calories made you fat.0

may be I am trying to eat 1000 cal per day but sometimes the usual routine just get flipped and ..I finish eating everything on the table   :sick:0

Try what I did: Atkins for a month. Then slowly add them back in. I was probably eating 300-400g of carbs per day about 6 months ago and now I'm completely satisfied with 50-70g because it's not none lol. It's not perfect but it's WAY lower than it used to be. Find something that works for you because most people are horribly crabby without carbs and no one needs that lol0

hahahaha...!may be I should :drinker: :drinker:0

Well there's your problem. 1000 cals a day? Where did you get that number? That's far too low, the MINIMUM is 1200 for females and 1800 for males, and very few should actually eat that low.0 -

1000 calories per day? Are you super short or something?0 -

"Actually its all those carbs which make me fat every time" ....... do you mean that you keep re-gaining lost weight?
Lifestyle changes ...............I don't cut carbs because I know I won't cut carbs for the rest of my life. You can have rice .....just make sure you measure your portions. You can have pasta ...... just make sure you measure your portions. You can have bread ..... just make sure you measure your portions. This is how you will keep weight off FOREVER....... by learning that certain foods are small portion foods.
To bump up the "volume" of your meals add veggies to every main dish. Veggies will stretch your calories.0 -

Also, 1000 calories is too little. You need to find a happy medium between too much food and too little food.
This thread is full of good advice:

We've already told you what to do. EAT. MORE. The reason your hair is falling out is because your body is so malnourished it's not spending energy on making more hair because it doesn't have any energy to use.0 -

You need 1400 calories just to survive. That's your BMR. Don't eat below that, because that means your body will start taking short cuts to survive, and your hair will fall out.
Do you work out at all? Are you active during the day or do you sit down?0 -

based on those numbers, your BMR (base metabolic rate) is about 1400, which means you should never eat fewer than 1400 calories.
Use this calculator to do the math yourself: http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/
Also, you may have vitamin and mineral deficiencies, so getting a blood test might be a good idea, since you're seeing hair/skin problems. Eating a well balanced diet including lots of fruits and veggies should solve the problem, but it doesn't hurt to make sure there's not something else going on too0 -

Just also keep in mind that while 1400 is your absolute baseline, you should absolutely be eating MORE than that every day to compensate for the fact that you walk around, run errands and live your life - nevermind an exercise plan, which you should also begin looking into.
Being fit and healthy can be fun - just don't look for short cuts, because they don't exist. Wish you the best of luck.0
