I hate feeling this way. Just a rant.

I hate where I am.
I hate the feelings that I get when I am around people that are skinnier than me.
Ugh! I feel so discouraged. Sometimes being around these people just depresses me so much.
In particular those people who were in my shoes before but lost the weight (surgically) It makes me mad/sad because I am jealous. I want to be there. I want to be the one who lost 100lbs. Sigh. This is wrong way to think.
I am proud of them because they got where they want to be but on another token I feel like its such an easy way out. Then again if I had the money I don't think I would say I wouldn't at least consider it. Blah
Why do I feel this way? I dislike myself when I get this way.
sigh. I hope I am not the only one who has ever felt this way.

You're definitely not the only to feel this way! I do quite often and that's why I decided to get serious about losing weight. You've lost 51lbs so far and I think that's amazing, I wish I had that dedication! Be proud if how far you've come being the bigger one in the room sucks, but just keep reminding yourself that one day you'll be the person you want to be0

That kind of surgery is dangerous, and they still have to eat well and exercise, or else they plump up again.
You are doing fine. Just don't get discouraged.
You will have the knowledge and discipline to stay in shape for the long term if you achieve it naturally,
The people that get surgery don't have the knowledge on what type of behavior will keep them fit.0 -
Of course it's not unusual to feel that way. Well at least not to me it isn't. Yeah it can be depressing but we just gotta keep pushing to be were we wanna be. That's what motivation is. I'm not giving up until I become the "it girl" it might take longer then I want it to but trust me when I'm done I'm gonna be smoking hot and so are you. Just don't give up and together we can do it I promise Hun.0

We are the quick-fixingest societies ever to live. That's part of the reason many of us need to lose weight in the first place. It's totally normal to feel that way for a moment, but don't beat yourself up. Stick to your program, let yourself feel good about the progress you've already made, and take each day as it comes. You're doing great.0

At the risk of sounding vengeful...You can totally throw in the world's face when you do hit goal.
'yeah, I look sexy 'cause I workout'
'stitches a little sore? that stinks, yea, my legs are sore 'cause I'm training for a marathon"
'nah, my back rarely gets achy...because my core is so tight'0 -
I always feel the same! I feel bitter and twisted about it sometimes!!
Sometimes when im in the gym, I despise looking around at the "slim" ladies.... I don't want them to be their! I also don't want the huge full wall mirrors to be there as they depress me just as much!
I don't know those womens journeys though, some may be blessed to naturally be like that, some might have just lost 100lbs! It doesn't help though, its a horrible vicious circle sometimes, and its only us that can get ourselves out of it!!
You have done AMAZING, over 50lbs!!! WOW! Just remember, you could be the type of lady, someone like me, looks at and gets upset because you look so amazing!!!
We have to carry on Its hard, really hard, but will be so so worth it in the end!
Good luck with the rest of your journey! X0 -
Use it as motivation. I did. I hated being near skinny people...my son is super skinny so imagine what that was like for both of us.
I decided I wanted to wear his clothing. I can now.
I know you wont always be this way or feel this way. But use that feeling as the best motivation to get there. Skinny is not everything, trust me. There are times I miss my fatter self..... like when winter hits or when I see clothing that looks awesome...yet I know it wont fit me cause it's far too big for me now
Being skinny is not horrid, but it's not all fun either.0 -
Thanks everyone for the support. I am glad I am not the only one who has ever felt this way because I do feel bad that I can't find it in me right now to just be happy for these people.
Im hoping to use this as the fuel to drive me to my goal of losing another 50lbs!0
