Hi there,
So I play netball for my uni albeit not very well and I've been out of action for a month now after landing on another girls foot. Finally the physio has given me the all clear to play this weekend. - Yay
What ankle braces would you recommend? or would you just stick with strapping tape?
I do have a history of torn ligaments and sprained ankles.
Thank you

I have found that tape works best for me. It just feels tighter and doesnt move0

Old thread, but I wouldn't strap at all, unless you have been told to.
The ankle is supposed to be a mobile joint, you need to make sure it is strong enough to handle that mobility to avoid injury, not strap it up to make it immobile. If you immobilise the ankle joint, the lost mobility will just have to come from somewhere else instead, and you could easily end up injuring your knee instead.0
