Over on sugar

So my goal is to lose weight. I have been on this for nearly two weeks now, and my cal goal daily is 1350.
Now, my sugar goal is 27 (grams I presume) daily... But every day I am going over on my sugar! Some days it is low, I could get 5 over but on other days it seems I could be 66 over!
I am under my calorie goal but my sugar intake says its too high... Not by loads (I think) but by some...
Is this going to affect my diet a lot? In regards to losing weight that is. I don't really eat toooooo many sweet things (a few here and there), some of the sugar count would be from fruit, all bran or special K cereals, low fat milk and every day foods. I will put my diary on public for a little while so you can view it. Any help would be great, thanks

The sugar listed on your MFP macros is a suggestion, not a limit. Provided you keep to your calorie goal, you will lose weight, even if you go over ANY of the suggested Macros such as Fat/Carbs/Protein.
You can edit your food diary so sugar is no longer displayed. MFP doesn't have a separate category right now for sugars that come from natural sources, such as fruit. As long as you are not being told to limit your sugar by a doctor, don't stress over it.0 -
I go over on sugar pretty much every day. I don't really pay attention to it. Most days I have like 100g+ of sugar and MFP only "allows" me like 40g. Fat/Protein <<<ESSENTIALS to hit (don't skimp these out!) Carbs are also essential, I don't personally eat a lot of em. As long as I meet my fat/protein for the day I fill the rest in with any mixture of fats/carbs/protein I so desire. I would do as suggested above and just remove it, because seeing those negative red numbers can sometimes be discouraging as a mental factor. Calorie defecit = weight loss, calorie surplus= weight gain. Don't be extreme or hard on yourself.0

I took sugar off lol. Because I was always going over and I hate seeing anything in the 'red' so I took it off. I added fiber instead. I make sure I have fiber-fats-proteins-carbs up their, oh and sodium. Things I need. But as long as you're not going over your calorie goal then I think you should be fine.0

I also go over in sugar everyday, but I've also been losing weight consistently for 6 months. It shouldn't impact your loss. And as everyone mentioned before, it's just a goal anyway0
