Hey everyone, i'm new and i have a few problems concerning my fitness, overall health, and dieting. I am 18 years old, and i want to lose weight to get a six-pack for my dream girl. Not only for her, but for myself, my family, and my friends. I feel like i am a disappointment to everyone that sees me. On the outside, for the most part, [concerning fat wise] i look great, but i feel terrible. When i take off my shirt at the pool i feel like i'm fat. I must say that i haven't always been a fitness critique, and therefore being that i haven't always been exercising as much as i should be. I eat healthy over all[my mom is a health fanatic [no joke kinda] and i was in swim team in my early high-school career, and i do sit-ups and push-ups and stretching every day, and i see no improvement. Luckily my shirt covers most of my fat when i am standing up straight or sitting in a chair, but when i bend down or as i said earlier, taking off my shift in the pool, i feel like junk compared to the women who wear baquini's and the guys who have six packs. Here are some quick stats about my body stature: waist=34, weight =130[i know but ill send pictures for proof, ONLY WAIST UP, I'm a virgin still, and i'm 5'7. I work out for 30 hard minutes of swimming, and i'm in a marching band that rehearses for an 1 and a half every day. i do stretches, sit-ups etc. Not concerning all of this, in my opinion, i'm a nice guy. I get good grades, i'm respectful to everyone and etc. Keep in mind my main goal is to get this for my dream girl. If you could give me some advice that would be great. I'm also looking for some friends to help encourage me to lose the weight and get the six pack. Thanks everyone

If you are 5'7 130 and have a 34 waist, you're prob skinny fat. so either cut further or it's prob better to put on some mass first then cut0 -
how do i get a six pack like yours?0

I don't think you need to lose any weight right now...I would bulk up a bit first, and start lifting...amp up your protein intake.
And sweetie...if your "dream" girl judges you by your abs...you need a different dream girl. It's fantastic to have goals and want to look good, but make sure you're doing it for you and not anyone else.0
