I have never done exercises before and so I hope you guys can recommend me some?

I need exercises I can do in my bedroom and without buying stuff. I can't really leave the house much and I walk everywhere I go but I can't do "outside exercises" regularly at all.

Also is there a way to "count calories" without actually counting them? Any tips on eyeballing good serving sizes and stuff? Because I'm already at a good weight (but I want to change my horrible eating habits and start gaining muscle) I'll get judged if I suddenly start eating healthy and watching what I eat. I know you're supposed to ignore those who judge but I live with my parents at the moment so I'm not really in control of the food. I'll start asking for things like fruit but I still need "sneaky" ways, I can't visibly be seen counting calories and measuring things. I hope this makes sense.

Maybe check out bodyrock tv on youtube?

I dont really understand why you cant leave the house or why healthy eating would be judged though.

    Proving you have no clue.

Yeah bodyrock.tv for someone who's never really exercised before..... why not just insist on insanity?

Also as for the leaving house & being judged.... not everyone has a perfect setup at home and can do it without being judged, there are heaps of people on here with the same problem. Leaving the house is also a big one on here, could be any reason.

Boredeating try doing something simple like this http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIJwWYOfsCfz6PjxbONYXSg

    As for eyeballing calories..... http://www.kohlshealthyfamilyfun.org/wp-content/uploads/Serving-Size-of-Common-Foods13.jpg

In my experience it is very hard to just eyeball food and estimate calories in the beginning. Once you have spent some time measuring stuff you can be more accurate, but it doesn't sound like you are in a position to do that.

If you are eating mostly processed food it is easier. Not necessarily healthier, but easier. Processed foods have energy counts on the labels, for a given serving size or for 100g. A bowl of ramen where you just add water has fixed calories, for example, and makes entry into MFP dead easy.

Exercises in your room, hm. Does it matter if you are thumping around and making noise? Squats, lunges, push-ups and sit-ups are all relatively quiet (grunting excluded).

Sounds like you are in a tense time in your life. Good luck.

Are you recovering from an eating disorder? Is that why you can't be seen to be counting calories?

There are some rules of thumb about portion sizes. Meat is the size of your palm, cheese is the size of a matchbox, etc.

As for building muscle, start with body weight exercises. scoobyworkshop has a free bodyweight work out you can try.
