Advice to continue weight loss?

Hello I am new to this site and I just had a question for everyone who has had a constant weight loss. I have been dieting for just a little over a month and I have lost 29 pounds. I have a very important event coming up in October and I would really like to lost another 23-28 pounds by the beginning of October. I know that is a lot in a very short time period but I have lost 29 already and the weight loss has really slowed down from the beginning. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

Impossible unless you're severely obese, and even then I'd still doubt it could be done.

As you get closer to goal, the harder/slower weight loss will be.

You need to set realistic goals for yourself and lower your expectations.

Maintain a healthy calorie deficit. Exercise. Be positive. Those things will help you get closer to your goal. Will you lose another 28 lbs in a month? Not likely, but 1 lbs or 10 lbs is closer to it than 0.

You might be going to hard on your dieting and/or exercise. 5 lbs a week is very steep.

I lost about 30 pounds my first month, but I started out at 347. After that it's slowed to about 10 - 12 on average per month. What is your plan? What are you doing? Is it sustainable?

Aim to lose weight at a sustainable rate for your overall health and don't stress about losing as quickly as you can for an event. This is about changing your life and setting healthy habits to live by.

The beginning of September is in less than 2 days. You want to lose 23 lbs in the next week?

Well, seriously I'd advise against it. You'd have to drastically under eat and possibly dehydrate to reach that exact goal if its possible. Just have to eat crazy low calories, exercise crazily and hope. You WILL GAIN IT BACK immediately once you get back to eating more normal amounts.
