what is the gym like on a friday night?
thinking about going
i wouldnt need to go on saturday which is a bad day (too crowded in the morning)
will i feel like a loser?
i never go to the gym in the evenings much less a friday night!

I know where i live the gym on friday night is a ghost town. I love it.0

I went tonight and it was empty, I can get in and get my *kitten* done and you still have time to shower and go out if that's your fancy!0

Friday is usually dead. Friday after 6:30 is beyond dead. I'm usually there, but not tonight...too much candle burning the last 36 hours or so, gotta recharge and go back tomorrow.0

it's heavenly. same with Saturday night. I'd be there right now but alas there is much football to watch0

Asians usually infest the gym the later it gets. It's a toss up, but Mondays and Tuesdays are the worst.0

I just came back, myself. I was the only one there, the lights were off when I first arrived. Blasted my music and no one showed up the whole time I was there.0

I went on Friday night.
I usually go to the gym on evenings. 2 reasons really. 1 - work and 2 - there is less people, which = more machines to use, when you want.
I like to go swimming after the gym. I usually go to them gym at 7pm, then go swimming from 8pm up until 10pm sometimes, depends how I'm feeling.
And no, you're not a loser for going to the gym at night. It's a logical option if your evenings are available!0 -
I went to the gym tonight at 9 and I loved it. All the treadmills were free, so I didn't have anyone next to me. I always go in the evenings because that's when my workout buddies go. They either go at 9pm or 6:30am and there is no way I am getting up that early!0

My gym is nice and quiet on a Fri evening. I sometimes do step class at 6;15 and not that many people do the class, so it's nice.
Sat and Sun around 4pm are also nice quiet times.0 -
Friday eves are always quiet in mine.everyones in the pub!0

Whenever i've gone on a Friday night I usually find a handful of the super motivated people and that's about it. I'm a shift worker so my days are all over the place. Half of the time I don't even realize it's a weekend night lol.0

mine's really friendly not packed, no queuing for anything but folks are quite focused on doing what they want to do and getting away but still have time for a smile ... I find it a great way to fit in a workout and then meet up with friends later, that way I've missed a good few hours of mindless drinks and snacks and burnt a few calories too #WIN0

I love the gym on a Friday night because I rarely have to wait for machines or for space to lift weights or do core work. There are less obnoxious bros on a Friday night because the people who are there, are much more motivated.0
