Hi all,

So, I recently found my door knob exerciser (a useful little thing found here: http://www.amazon.com/Get-Organized-DOOR-KNOB-EXERCISER/dp/B00266X5JY ). I was wondering...

1) Does anyone else use this to exercise?

2) Does anyone have any idea what kind of calorie-burning value I would put on it?

Thanks,
T

Hopefully it's better than those old fashioned ones on the pully with the rope. I would think resistance bands tied to the doorknob would work you harder. I would probably record this as strength training if that's what it's meant to do.

This is the greatest invention ever. I think that the moves you make are like Pilates. I the door-nob exerciser when I was in my 20's and then my 40's and now in my 60's. It is easy and does give you results if you do it twice a day. I do about 100 repetitions of each of the moves. I found this video. Just turn off the sound if you don't know the language. It is a good demonstration on how to use it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prC5qj-MFzw. It is titled pocket rope gym but is the dame kind of equipment.
I am thinking that it does not burn a lot of calories but it sure helps tone and flatten the tummy. I am thinking that I will input Pilates into the counter as my exercise for this.
