Recipe building calorie burning

• Way to go making each ingredient added take about 5 minutes. It really must have taken a long time to make such a small thing take 3 page refreshes with a glacial wait in between.

• When I want to change the portion size of an ingredient in my recipe, I have to delete the ingredient, then search for it again, then add it. Don't you think you could do something like require me to erase my whole recipe and start over from the beginning? It only take 30 minutes to assemble a 6 ingredient recipe.

• Also, when I want to add a non-prepackaged, non-factory farmed food to my recipe, could you do a better job of burying it under prepackaged and fast foods? Aren't there some Canadian, Mexican, or European brands that I don't use that you could bury them under?

• I'm glad you've avoided using the computer to do what it does best- math. How would I keep those algebra skills sharp if I didn't constantly have to convert between ounces and grams.

• Adding weird portion sizes that keep me from just weighing my food and punching in that number is also a nice touch. Why should anyone be able to weigh 414g of chopped nectarine and get a quick and easy answer?

• I'd much rather guess WTF a "large" vs "extra large" tangerine is. If I cut a watermelon in half, does each half count as a slice?

All humor aside (and I feel much better now, thanks after having spend more than 30 minutes trying to assemble a sangria recipe from strawberries, nectarines, white wine, orange and grapefruit juice (there are a thousand entries for the nutritional info on these, and none of them match what is on my jugs)) you have made people who are trying to cook nice, organic meals at home suffer.

Intrigued, what actually was on your jugs?

I prefer to weigh out all of my ingredients but do struggle to find things by weight sometimes and then its in the wrong units lol, made a salad yesterday and when it came to cherry tomatoes the portion size was 5 tomatoes (85g) I mean what the heck, just give me 100g and I can then calculate any weight I use from that :ohwell:
