Work out music with a good beat? or...even a little sexy.

I'm trying to put together some work out music...but I'm struggling finding songs that make me actually want to MOVE. lol I have plenty of music I like, but that doesn't mean they make me want to keep running the treadmill.

Out of some of the music I have or have heard, I noticed songs with a good beat are nice. (except most rap, I don't usually care for it, maybe like 1 or 2 songs in my lifetime), but I don't always have to know what they're saying either...haha

..... or songs that make you want to get down and dirty (sorry couldn't think of a better way to phrase that) work pretty good. But I don't have very many that I can think of...its like my brain turned off!

Here is what I have so far

Marilyn Manson - Tainted Love & User Friendly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQuKo3SevVA&has_verified=1 & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaXOWCR-ceM

Shakira - Loca, She wolf, Hips don't lie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEr91A_Rewc&feature=related, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=booKP974B0k, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUT5rEU6pqM&ob=av2e

And some belly dance music...

Pretty weak list I must say so.

Any suggestions?

Personally, I find cheesy pop music, or pop -punk/pop-rock music has quite a fun beat. And for the most part, having listened to it most of my life, I know all the words which makes treadmilling more fun. Also, I'm a musicals nerd, and love listening to Disney. but that might just be me. But seriously, there's a reason why Britney Spears was in good shape, she could dance to every moment of almost every song, which makes it good music to work out to....

I usually go for Abba and Lady Gaga - both have tons of great work-out songs, some of which are pretty sexy.
Also, there's free work-out podcasts on itunes, but most of that is techno.
If you want super "down-and-dirty", there's always Madonna!! lol

LOve the Madonna idea. Britney - I"m a closet fan myself. Someone said the pop punk rock stuff - Green Day has some good songs. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magic. Some sassy stuff on there.

Hi, I too like to get a wiggle in my workouts and there are plenty of songs that do it for me!!!! So yep poppy britney n cher n madonna no probs BUT if you are wanting a bit of a naughty smile try some of these out for bounce and......
The reverend Horton heat , bad reputation, slow, love whip, wiggle stick ( not much subtlety with these! Lol)
Kings of Leon sex on fire, use somebody,
The airborne toxic event, gasoline, sometime around midnight, wishing well
Jimmy Somerville don't leave me this way
Franz Ferdinand do you want to, no you girls, Michael
Killers mr brightside, spaceman joy ride

And then we get to the cramps what can I say make you laugh make you dance

These are some of the reasons I smile when I work out, worry is that I tend to sing along to my iPod poor neighbours!!!!!!! Lol

    I like Mash-Ups

Lady Gaga vs. Black Eyed Peas (Fergie) - Poker Hump Mashup 2009 Made by DJ NATH

Some regular 'not so dancey songs" can be made to be something quite helpful when I am trying to walk faster.

Sweet Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I had loaded a bunch of music a few weeks ago, and ended up flipping through like 4 GB of songs and only listening to the same 5 over and over again because the other ones weren't enough to keep me distracted from thinking "omg...my legs hurt...I'm so tired...10 min is long enough right?". lol

So that's when I decided I needed to fix up my list.
