    A really hot bath before going to bed.

    Waking up on this side of the dirt for one more day

    Respite on my porch or in the park.

    Any good day/hour/minute with my caree.
    Phone calls/lunch/chats with friends.
    Fresh produce and whatever healthy food hits the spot.
    The satisfaction of a good workout.
    Fresh-brewed coffee.
    Learning new things (like digital painting freeware).
    The flora and fauna in my yard.
    Clear nights when I can see the Milky Way from my driveway. Earthshine. Saying hi to the planets.

    Hearing my back porch screen door slam - reminds me of summers as a kid at my Grandma's farm. Also, hanging out my bed linens to dry, for the same reason.

    A hot shower on a cold day, or a cool shower on a hot day.
    A hot washcloth on my face.
    A preheated bed in the winter, with the window open crack letting in some cold air.
    A motorcycle ride - getting up to speed on the highway on a clear blue-sky morning.
    Finalizing a new paper project.

    Today's been a day full of small blessings.

    The smell of fresh cut grass
    The way garden tomatoes taste like sunshine and summertime
    Getting out right as the sun is rising for run/walk; it's so beautiful, peaceful, and I get my best thinking done then
    Reading the Sunday paper on my sunny deck with a hot steaming cup of coffee
    The sweet way my teens act when I do something nice for them (I made them homemade banana/oatmeal/blueberry muffins for breakfast)

    My 16 month old when he still falls asleep in my arms, OR when he runs up to me to sporadically hug & kiss me :-)
    Listening to some good tunes that are perfectly matched to my mood.
    Chilling out with hubby at the end of the day when kids are asleep.
