Vegetarian Runners

Hi there!

I became vegetarian ( actually the only meat I eat is seafood) March of this year (2013) and since then, I've been trying to use myfitnesspal to make sure I eat enough protein, vitamins, etc.
I am also a runner and because of that, sometimes I wonder what other vegetarian runners, swimmers, bikers, athletes have in their diets.
I would like to make new friends that are going through the same and maybe get more input about it.
Feel free to add me ;)

I've been running for about 2 months now and I'm a vegetarian :) Feel free to message me or ask any questions. My diet is 50% carbs - made up of wholewheat bread, pasta, oats and potatoes/25% protein%/25% fat. I try to get about 80+ grams of protein a day and supplement with a soy isolate shake. I've started to watch my fat intake carefully because it tends to lie on my stomach, which isn't pleasant when running. I'd ideally like my diet to be 50/30/20, just because I'm starting heavy lifting and want as much protein as possible without sacrificing that carb intake!
