I'm New :)

Hello! My name is Kim Plante and I am new to my fitness pal...I have always struggled with my weight however recently had a few health scares so here I am :)

Any Ideas/tips/things I should follow...please share all great ideas with me please!! Thank you!!! :)

    Best thing I can tell you from experience is keep yourself moving. Even if you only exercise 10 minutes a day do it. Sometimes I have to do mine in increments because I have a 11 month old. Find an activity you like. Also helps to have support and cheerleaders. With this you have to be accountable for your food and exercise. Its worked great for me. You can do it. :) rooting for you
  • I am also new. I have never been small but after four kids I am far from where I want to be so here I am. Any advice on how to weight in the hips and thigh areas be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, welcome! You're taking the first step to being a healthier you! So glad you're hear! Sorry to hear about your scare, my friend. Ask your doctor if a 1500 or 1200 calorie diet is right for you. I know it's sure working for me. It also helps if you chart everything on My Fitness Pal (MFP) that your going to eat first and then you know exactly where you stand calorie wise, and exercise is extremely important, too. When I started riding the stationary bike, the lbs started coming off. Yep, a clean diet, and healthy lifestyle sounds like just what the doctor ordered.
