Need advice ASAP!!

Ok so I was really stupid the other day and stopped my ripped in 30 workout half way they and didn't stretch afterwards. Usually I would if I stopped half way thru or not but I was really angry this day and didn't ???? lol anyways now the backs of my thighs are soooo tight. My legs hurt so bad for a couple days after that I could hardly walk or move. Now just the backs are so tight when I exercise I can't quite get that full range of movement comfortably and when I stretch I can get a deep into the stretch as usual. What can I do to help this??

    It sounds like you just have leg DOMS. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do other than grin and bare it

    Thanks for the reply. Had to look that up lol. I pushed a walk yesterday and some more strenuous exercise today and made sure I did some nice long stretching afterwards and it feels alot better. Still a bit tight but.

    You might want to look into getting a foam roller....

    What does a foam roller do ?

    Torture. Horrible, horrible, lovely torture.

    Basically you lay whatever body part to roll out on it and roll it back and forth, it acts almost as a deep tissue massage.
  • Just walk it out. When my legs hurt like that, I do plyometrics.

    There are a number of things you can do to help it but you won't fully solve it.

    Stretch anyway. Stretch frequently and often. Do static holds, nothing strenuous though.

    Keep active. Walk and do light recovery activity. Don't rest all day or anything like that, you'll make it worse.

    Hot and cold packs. Or take a hot bath then apply an ice pack afterwards. Use epsom salts.

    Massage and foam rollers. If your glutes and hamstrings hurt roll around on a tennis ball. Look up videos for this.

    Keep bloodflow active. If your legs hurt do some upper body weightlifting. This can seriously help.

    Good luck. I deal with leg DOMS all the time. :sad:

    My partner rang half way thru and we had a bit of a tiff.
