I'm just starting this life style change again!...trying to lose 50lbs. I'm staying off the scale because it only causes discouragement...and this is not my first rodeo...I have been dieting all my life. I'll get on the scale once a week. The main thing I remind myself of everyday is that....I didn't put on this weight overnight...it took months and months to gain...its not coming off in a big *kitten* hurry...I have to have patience and mental strength to achieve this goal. It would be nice to just once in my life get a grip on this weight problem. I wish everyone trying to lose the weight all my best and I hope you succeed! God bless you. Steven. :)))

    And THAT is how it's done. With that attitude. No quick fixes, but slow and steady. You're in the right place. Lots of great people to support you, encourage you, offer advice. Just hang in there. Don't get discouraged by any setbacks or slip-ups, because we all have them. And you can do it.
