    Water. OK, not a good source of protein, but good for weight loss.

    Go to the weight loss section of Wal-Mart, that is probably the cheapest stuff. I have EAS I use after workouts.

    Depends on how much protein you want, and how many calories you want to spend. Body Fortress Whey Protein Isolate is about 130 cal, 2 carbs, 1 gram of fat, 30 grams of protein per one scoop serving which is a little under a $1 a serving.
