Anyone left that started this journey as part of their New Year's Resolution. Just curious to see how many stuck to it this year. I wasn't even planning on this being part of my resolution this year. Hoping that there's other's that stuck it out too. I really feel like this is part of my life now and I'm so happy to have stuck with it! Anyone else?

Yeah, though I didn't actually start until March
Good job, and stay with it!!0 -
Yep...me too! People say that New Year's Resolutions don't work, but I'm still hangin' in there. I also quit smoking almost 7 years ago on a resolution and haven't smoked since. So I'm a believer in making resolutions! Just gotta put your mind to what it is that you're trying to accomplish!0

I don't really make resolutions but I did start on January 1st. So far I'm hanging in there:)0

I am still with. Fitness, exercise, clean eating should be a lifestyle change not a diet. 35 lbs and 19.5 overall inches.0

Started as a resolution 3 years ago but have just been bumbling along. So.. yes?0

I don't know that it was technically my resolution but I started January 1 & am still going strong.0

Me! I am down about 30 pounds since January. I finally feel like this is a new lifestyle for me rather than a diet.0

I started My Fitness Pal the first week of January, but I had started my weightloss journey in November.0

Yes! Started on 12/31 and can't wait to reach 365 days of logging! Best resolution I ever made.0

Yeah, still here.
Awesome year so far.0 -

I feel like I've just been the one who says 'I don't need a time frame'.. then look in the mirror 3 years later and I'm only 20 lbs lighter. I know, I know, 20lbs is a lot but it's hard to forget that weight loss when it has been so long. The fluctuating is what really does me in.0 -
well I did join MFP few months before the year changed, but it wasn't until after new years eve that I actually started using it and got serious thanks to MFP I have learned a lot about food and exercise, I joined a gym for the very first time and now I've been going to gym regularly almost 6 months!0

So glad to see that others have stuck it out from January (this and past January's). Way to go everyone!! I'd be curious to see how many new members join in January and then how many of those are still around late March.0

Oh, I'm still here, but I wouldn't say I stuck to it ;-p I'm just coming back for anther round. Haven't gained since New Years, but haven't lost either, so here I go again! Glad to see you are making progress... that's actually really inspiring :-) Hopefully, this coming new year, I won't have to make the same resolution again! Jen0

Down 57 lbs since January! I'm already looking for a hot red dress to ring in the New Year in, hoping to be down 80lbs by then!0

Started as a new years resolution but didn't actually start until january 21st... lost a lot of weight in 3 months without a plan just eating next to nothing and running a lot. Caved, ate all the things and put on almost all my weight i lost back on. Been back on track for a couple of months now and am going strong despite that massive hiccup in the middle of the year.0

Yep, started as a New Year Resolution and stuck with it this time.... Reached my initial goal weight today as a matter of fact. A little longer than I would have liked to get here but hey, it took me a lot longer to put it on! Consistency and discipline. No going back for me!0

Sort of. It wasn't really a new years resolution, but I did start working out early in 2013. That's when I was able to get a sweet deal on an elliptical.0

It was one of my 2012 Resolutions. I'm still here; not going anywhere....0

I re-started again December 26, so the day after Christmas and I am still here. Last year when I tried I had quite by June, so I would say I am in for the long haul this time. Weight loss is harder and slower this time, but I am not giving up.0

Started as a resolution almost 2 years ago. Still here and last year started a gym membership and still going twice a week and trying for more.0

Started as a new year's resolution last year. I'm down 90 lbs, at a healthy body fat, and working on building back some of the muscle I lost. Going strong and no intention to slow down.0

It was my 2012 New Years Resolution.0

I have been using MFP for a few years. I would lose a little then gain it back over the holidays. Early in January at 160lbs. (I am 4'9" tall). I resolved to take the weight off and keep it off. I am still here at 144. In a challenge group and hope to be at 135 by Halloween.
I plan to continue loosing to 120 and maintaining there.0 -

People don't say they don't work. They statistically have a high failure rate.0 -

It started as my New Years resolution, but I fell of the wagon so many times that I can't exactly say I stuck with it. I'm at day 30 now, but even in those 30 days, there are some days I didn't log everything.
Congrats to you for sticking with it! I hope you took lots of before, during, and after pictures so you can see how far you've come in just 8.25 months! :-)0 -
I started MyFitnessPal on 1/19/13 with my eye on my daughter's upcoming wedding on 7/5/13. I had bought my Mother-of-the-Bride dress two sizes smaller and knew that I had to really be diligent. And I did it!! I fit into the dress and I felt so wonderful at her wedding. I feel happy when I look at the pictures of us on her special day. I feel like I accomplished something; but I also know I need to lose another 52 pounds to finally have a normal BMI. I am still considered obese and for health reasons I just want to be normal. Since her wedding I watched myself start to become lax with tracking my calories. The scale started to inch up and now 10 pounds more then where I was 2 months ago I finally have said "Enough Jodi! You will not do this again!!! You will not inch your way back up, you will stop now and you will track every morsel!!" So I am looking to stay motivated, to be accountable. You see having that size 14 dress to get into was what kept me on the straight and narrow. I need to have a goal and be driven. In 6 weeks I am flying out to Charleston for my Godson's wedding. I bought another dress that fits, but tightly, so my goal will be to lose 12 pounds for his wedding. I hope this makes me accountable and keeps me on the straight and naorrow again. Perhaps just checking in with the MFP community will also keep me motivated!0

Yeah started out kind of tough!!! But have kept on it!! Been through lot of medical problems this year, but still have kept logging and tracking as best I can and have gone up and down past my goal weights, but tend to be able to burn it off because of this site!!!0
