Hi everyone
I'm just wondering if there are any ladies here who have done/are following BBS principals. If so, has it worked for you?
There doesn't seem to be much around women using BBS - I can't seem to find much visual evidence that it's effective!

This is a program for building strength, but I believe it's more machine oriented than free weight oriented. "Slow reps" are basically isometric style training, so normally there isn't a lot of bodyshaping going on since isometric type exercises don't provide enough volume needed to "pump" the muscle up.
But it's not an undesirable program, especially for those who really hate long minutes in the gym or hate working out.

Thanks ninerbuff. I have noticed that it doesn't seem ideal for "sculpting" but it would be interesting to see if anyone has managed it, maybe with a combination of other techniques?
I'm using free weights but it would be a lot easier with machines, especially when reaching failure.
I understand it's used for rehab which is great for my back problems! I found other 'normal' exercise programs too too much of a toll on my discs, even regular cardio.0
