  • I actually work 7-4 and take my classes in the evening, so your schedule is similar to mine. Are you at a residential college? I live at home so my food choices are limited to what I can afford at the time. (Aldi's is a LIFESAVER)

If you are at a residential college and on a meal plan, just make sure you log your food as accurately as you can and make sure to pay attention to your portion sizes.

I have pretty much lost all the weight so far by actually reading serving sizes for once. You should have seen my face when I realized that 6 pizza rolls was a serving-Not the entire bag.
  • No i live at home and it has helped a lot in the past but i also live with my parents who can eat whatever and not gain an oz. so they keep horrible food around and they make it really hard to keep healthy food around. i started reading the lables and i was also shocked when i saw that ramen noodles serving size was half a pack and so many caloires.

If you have an Aldi's in your area I totally recommend checking it out. It is known for cheaper, "generic" food but it is actually pretty food. Beware the SUPER CHEAP junkfood though. You can get a giant bag of chips for like a dollar.

If money is tight (I just finished paying for the semester so I am currently too broke to buy my own food) just make the best choices that you can I try to track your food as close as you can. I
