Crane heart rate monitor from Aldi Australia

I just purchased this watch last week and cannot figure out how to get a total calorie reading! Can anyone please help me?

    You need to be in heart rate mode and you press the 'SEL' button until 'CAL' comes up, above your heart rate, wait a few seconds and your calories will appear in that space.

    I've been tempted to get this brand after seeing it at the store a few times but always chicken out.
