I'm looking at cutting back on refined sugars in my diet. But I have no idea where to find or brands that unrefined. Can you help me with ideas to get started?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Lately I have been able to get raw local honey from a man who lives near me... I LOVE it. I've been using it in baking, etc.
I have insulin related health issues, and sugar is sugar- whether it comes from honey, agave, or the plain old white stuff. However, I do feel like at least with the honey I'm adding some nutrients in there. I also feel like it's sweeter, so I can use less of it.
I've also used agave nectar and the "in the raw" turbinado sugar. I just think the honey tastes the best. Just my opinion0 -
Refined sugars will be found in cakes, cookies, ice cream, soda, etc etc. Try to get your sugars from natural sources like fresh fruits.0
