Read so much conflicting information on here...

Can anyone recommend a HRM to me to buy in the UK, Looking to spend £50 tops (£60 at a push....)

Recently cranked up the fitness to running and more gym classes and would like a better idea of what its doing to my heart rate etc so i can work on it

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies...

Anything from Garmin, Polar or Suunto will be good. Not sure what's available in the UK or the pricing, but those companies all make good products.

All will be good at measuring HR. All will only ESTIMATE calories burned.
  • My old one did not track calorie burn. I recommend you get one that reports that info.

If you tend to have your smart phone with you when you are at the gym or working out I would suggest looking into the Polar H6 or H7 straps. They both bluetooth to various devices and use an app to track HR, calories (estimated, not as good as watch that learns more about your fitness level), speed and distance.
  • Thanks guys. The one I seen was £60 and I don't fancy spendin that much x
