Will the sugar from fruit hinder my weight loss?

If I only had a bit of weight left to lose would the sugar from fruit hinder my weight loss goals? I want to the 5 pounds I gained coming home from college and am currently eating about 3 servings a fruit a day (that's cutting back for me haha). The rest of my diet is fairly clean. Today for my fruit I had a small banana ,1 mango and plan on having a serving of hami melon for dinner (I know today is a lot of sugar, I normally don't eat melon or mango on the same day.) But could that be the reason why I'm stuck at the weight I am? I don't eat junk foods or simple carbs and stay away from all drinks except water, plain tea and black coffee.

Only if you go over on calories. Many people, myself included, turn off the sugar column in the report because it can mislead you. Fruit is fine if overall calories are fine as far as weight loss goes. Can get complicated with macros, but generally speaking fruit is good...0

Fruits won't hinder your weight loss if you are eating in a deficit.0

Nope. Unless you have a metabolic issue with sugar, sugar in general won't hinder your weight loss if you consistently carry a caloric deficit. I'm a sugar fiend and have had no problem losing weight.0

Thanksthis was very helpful to me too. We have started using a nutri bullet this week for breakfasts, the recipes call for different types of fruits and I usually stay away from fruit do to the sugar. But since the weight is not coming off by following that......... I am ready to try anything! I usually have a dficit in calories and try to stay away from bread and pasta as much a s possible. Juicing seemed to be a healthy change that I had read alot about. It is good to know that fruit really isna't that bad for you!!0
