This is my second week doing the insanity program and my knees are sore. The schedule says to do the workouts everyday except Sunday but I'm thinking I should a day and just rest. Advice Please...

You have to push thru the sore to get past the sore, but if your knees are sore enough that you are having physical pain then YES please take a rest day. I would hate to see you do damage that is un-necessary.0

Are they just sore or is it actual pain? There is a significant difference.
Soreness, push through it.
Pain, rest.0 -
I have had two surgeries on my left knee and dealt with some soreness after the first few weeks of Insanity.
After pushing through, the soreness eventually subsided.
Unfortunately, my knee is so used to being warmed up and loosened up with the workout that when I don't workout, my knee gets stiff.0 -
I am on my 2nd day of Insanity...how do you guys log it on the exercise? Aerobics seem like an understatement of what I just went through. Thanks0

If your knee is just sore, push through it. Insanity is CRAZY! Even fit people will get sore doing the program if the exercises are something they are not use to. However, if you are in pain, stop! Personally, I don't think any program works unless you can go at your own pace. If you enjoy the exercises but have major discomfort doing it, take it slow and take rests between the days that you exercise. Doing insanity 4 days a week instead of 6 is still much better than not doing it at all. Good luck!0
