Just started on myfitnesspal but why do I get no calorie credits for weight training. Clearly it must burn some? Confused

I don't know. I just always put mine under "circuit training" or I make up a name for it and add it to exercises and give it estimated calories. So mine always comes up under cardio, but I know I'm doing weight training. Though circuit training really is both if you work hard enough.0

under the cardio section under weight traing.0

enter "strength training" under the cardio section for an estimate of calories burned from lifting0

Enter it under the Cardio section instead of the Strength Training Sessions (use this to keep track of weight and reps) ... it's about 1.3 calories per minute (200lbs * 1.3 = 260 calories burned in one hour) for light weight lifting.0
