I need an accurate one that had a generous weight allowance...any suggestions?

The Fitbit Aria is great. It has a limit of 350lbs though. Not sure if that is generous enough.
ETA: The Ozeri Precision Pro series bath scales have high ratings, and go up to 440lbs.
Also, I assumed you meant bath scales... if you need a kitchen scale... any digital one which displays weight in both grams and ounces is perfect.0 -

I have been using a kitchen scale I bought at a supermarket. It cost me less than 10 dollars. It has been very helpful.
I have started baking and I read a digital scale is better than the analog one above mentioned.
I found a Soehnle at williams sonoma for 13 dollars. It works very well.

All the consumer scales are a bit hit and miss. Any scale is really fine.0
