I'm on 2 day shred and i try to "fight through the burn" but it's not a burn, it's a sharp pain in my shins and ankles. This is why I always give up she trying to work out because I really just can't handle the pain its mostly the stuff like jumping jacks, butt kicks?, jump ropes, and things where I have to jump. I just need to know why it hurts and what can I do so it won't hurt or to keep the pain away. I tried 2 different pairs or "workout shoes" and I've tried barefoot but ugh! Thank you!

Sharp pain tells me those moves are too hard on your shins and ankles at the moment. I'd say to skip those exercises for now or find a way to modify them so they are lower impact. I had to stop doing any kind of jump squat due to knee pain. I do other types of squats instead.

So, modify or do a different exercise. Once your fitness improves some, try those moves again.
