I am a klutz. I drop water bottles, they shatter, the other half gets mad. i go through a couple a month this way. I want a straw to the bottom of the bottle, some way to close the top (preferable leak free. Must be double walled. Lifetime warranty would be a plus. Ideas?

I read a review recently about water bottles ... but can I remember what they recommended? ... Of Course not !!!!0

Do you have Google on that device you're typing on?
Try that.0 -
Contigo bottles are good - you can see their (limited) lifetime warranty here: http://www.gocontigo.com/warranty-policy.html0

water bottles harbor a lot of bacteria no matter if you use a dishwasher to sterilize0

Go to REI. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. My boyfriend broke one of his ski poles on a fall, took them back, and they not only replaced both poles, but partially refunded his money since the poles were on sale at the time of the exchange.0

Source? Would not the same be true for glasses etc?
To The OP - check out camelback bottles, there's a reason you see them used by cyclists (I dropped mine on a ride today - at 25 km/h - and it barely got a scratch)0 -

Since when? I have a glass water bottle that does not have any more bacteria in it than my dishes. Everything has bacteria in it...even the water.0 -
I have found two brands that I like. I prefer the stainless steel variety, double-walled, because they keep things cold for a long time and they don't get condensation on the outside. One is by Camelbak - http://shop.camelbak.com/bottles/l/200
Be sure you choose one that says "insulated" if you are looking for something that keeps things cold. They can be a little pricy but they have a lifetime warranty: "CamelBak will repair or replace at its discretion any manufacturing defect in these products free of charge. The Got Your Bak™ Lifetime Guarantee does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, combat damage, improper care or cleaning, non-standard usage or negligence. Product must be purchased from an authorized CamelBak dealer." And they have good customer service. I lost the cap to mybottle and sent them an email asking how to buy a replacement. They sent me a new lid at no charge! I bought mine at a ****s Sporting Goods store.
The other brand that I like is sold on the Flylady.net site: http://shop.flylady.net/pages/FlyShop_swbboth.asp0 -

(sarcasm) Thanks (/sarcasm) -- Really, don't you think I would have tried that? I wanted helpful advice from people that may have the same issue. That's why there's an ignore feature on this forum.0 -

Truedeaux are good too, until you drop one. Contigo has a similar warranty. I'm afraid if I dropped one and was honest about it they'd deny me too.0 -

Now you're just looking for attention.

Nobody is going to give you the lifetime guarantee if you drop them or break them. It's basically only if they are defective....like leaks & stuff. Not damage caused through usage.0

Thanks for the help. I might try that, was one of the brands I was looking at and not bad on price. I really like the clear insulated Eddy bottle, very similar to what I used from Trudeaux.0 -
steel.
Yup, It's pretty much what I'm thinking. Might be time.0
