Hey guys newbie to mfp, joined this week with intentions of using it to gain a few pounds over period of time while bulking.
Used another site to figure out calories needed per day, came out at 2870. 27yrs old, male, 5ft 11, pretty active and have set it at 45% carbs 35% protein and 20% fat, how does this look.
Also a question, how come that on the site you can see the values for each meal(protein, carbs, fat, and I think the others are sugar and fibre) but on my iPhone each meal just gives me the calorie count for each meal and an overall breakdown on the daily section, I'd like to know how much or the above for each meal when working it out etc, any help in sorting this much appreciated.

Hey there!! Do you mean that you want an individual nutritional breakdown of each item in your meal? Hoping I can help but am a little unsure of what you mean :-)0

Thanks for your reply, I've tried copy and pasting what I mean. I'd like a break down of each meal on my phone similar to this, on the daily diary part where you can see the meals you have consumed etc. however the only info it gives me is the food and then the amount of calories per item and overall calorie count for the meal.
Below, would be ideal as I could see the amount of carbs, fat and protein per meal for each meal on my phone, the only way I can see it as below is by logging onto the site via the net, not on the app.

Generic - Brocolli, 3 oz 17 3 0 1 17 1

Not sure how the table will look when post this so hope it's understandable
