Lifetime Warranty Water Bottle

I am a klutz. I drop water bottles, they shatter, the other half gets mad. i go through a couple a month this way. I want a straw to the bottom of the bottle, some way to close the top (preferable leak free. Must be double walled. Lifetime warranty would be a plus. Ideas?

Contigo bottles are good - you can see their (limited) lifetime warranty here: http://www.gocontigo.com/warranty-policy.html

Go to REI. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. My boyfriend broke one of his ski poles on a fall, took them back, and they not only replaced both poles, but partially refunded his money since the poles were on sale at the time of the exchange.

Source? Would not the same be true for glasses etc?

To The OP - check out camelback bottles, there's a reason you see them used by cyclists (I dropped mine on a ride today - at 25 km/h - and it barely got a scratch)

Since when? I have a glass water bottle that does not have any more bacteria in it than my dishes. Everything has bacteria in it...even the water.

I have found two brands that I like. I prefer the stainless steel variety, double-walled, because they keep things cold for a long time and they don't get condensation on the outside. One is by Camelbak - http://shop.camelbak.com/bottles/l/200

Be sure you choose one that says "insulated" if you are looking for something that keeps things cold. They can be a little pricy but they have a lifetime warranty: "CamelBak will repair or replace at its discretion any manufacturing defect in these products free of charge. The Got Your Bak™ Lifetime Guarantee does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, combat damage, improper care or cleaning, non-standard usage or negligence. Product must be purchased from an authorized CamelBak dealer." And they have good customer service. I lost the cap to mybottle and sent them an email asking how to buy a replacement. They sent me a new lid at no charge! I bought mine at a ****s Sporting Goods store.

The other brand that I like is sold on the Flylady.net site: http://shop.flylady.net/pages/FlyShop_swbboth.asp

(sarcasm) Thanks (/sarcasm) -- Really, don't you think I would have tried that? I wanted helpful advice from people that may have the same issue. That's why there's an ignore feature on this forum.

Truedeaux are good too, until you drop one. Contigo has a similar warranty. I'm afraid if I dropped one and was honest about it they'd deny me too.

Than a lot of us drink a ton of bacteria. What do you drink water out of?

i would love to. No store in my area. I'd move into an REI if I could.

Nobody is going to give you the lifetime guarantee if you drop them or break them. It's basically only if they are defective....like leaks & stuff. Not damage caused through usage.

Thanks for the help. I might try that, was one of the brands I was looking at and not bad on price. I really like the clear insulated Eddy bottle, very similar to what I used from Trudeaux.

I've had steel bottles for years. SIgg...no such thing as Lifetime Warranty. They dent if dropped - and eventually stop holding liquid if dropped enough/damaged.

Still the best option IMO for a reusable.

I was looking into these specifically, my most likely candidate:

    http://www.bubbabrands.com/crew/our-guarantee/

From what I have read, they will replace it if it stops insulating or holding water unless obviously abused. I'm looking for something that can survive one drop from hip height onto cement. I don't care if it's ugly afterward. If I make it 2 months or more, it's worth $30 to me. If the company helps me out even once, even outside it's normal parameters, it will win me over. Trudeaux didn't want to help even when there were quality issues from day one, then it shattered on the first drop which is what sent me looking.

I have had good luck with my bubba water bottle. I drop mine constantly, and while the design wore off and theres dents in it a bunch, it's still solid, holds water, and best yet, keeps the termperature solid for hours.
