Lifting ladies (and gents) I need some help!

Options
Due to a change in job I am looking to start working out at home rather than at the gym and need to get some kit.

I need a squat rack with decent safety's/spotters (I work out alone) and it would be good to combine with a lat pull down feature as well as a weight bench.

I will also be getting a barbell and dumbell set.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a reasonable quality set up that isn't going to bust the bank. (I'm in the UK)

I'm fairly new at this and squatting/deadlifting at around 130lbs (just over 1 x BW). I want some space for progression but the rack won't need to be standing up to huge weights any time soon!!

All suggestions and any ideas for kit I haven't mentioned will be welcome.

Thanks

I don't live in the UK so I can only give you generalized advice, but the best bang for your buck will always be used equipment\weights. Watch sites like Craigslist and Ebay like a hawk because when good deals are posted things tend to go fast (same day in my neck of the woods).

You may have to rent a truck and enlist a few friends for help with getting it home, since delivery is never part of the deal.
