Do your measurements change at TTOM?

I checked my measurements on the 24th day of my cycle. They are all the same as when I statted though I lost 8 pounds..are measurements higher during TTOM?

The tape shows a higher value too! Its very demoralizing :-(:-( I lost 8 pounds but no nches??
  • It's normal to bloat during TTOM ^-^ I usually weigh in if I'm really curious near day 3-4 though because that's when most of my bloating seems to calm down. If you can "weight for the week" (sorry for the pun) then you can go ahead and wait as it is more comfortable to the mentality of some :)

Yeah, most people report an increase in weight. Do you find your measurements to increase too?

Yes, it is normal for breasts and the stomach to bloat/swell during TTOM. Since the uteris is close to the waist line, I can imagine that the area would swell as well. It's best not to worry about measurements or weight when you know your body is not stable. Hope you feel better soon <3

Oh yes TOM is a B*&&^ and will screw up every measurement possible. I gained 1/2 an inch last month. But the good news is that TOM changes are temporary, so measure again a day or to after your cycle ends and see where you are.

Thanks guys :-) I was kind of demotivated because I thought I was starting to see progress after I stepped on the scale. Guess Ill have to try after Aunt flow.

Nothing to worry about, it's not fat gain. It's just water retention, and yes, it does cause you to bloat and increase your measurements and weight. Some ladies don't experience this, but the vast majority of us do. It's normal and quite expected.
