Parmesan Crusted Turkey Tenderloin
So I'm not much to follow a recipe, so I just kind of threw some stuff together tonight and hoped it turned out okay, and it did! Here's my recipe for what I've named Parmesan Crusted Turkey Tenderloin:
1 Jennie-O Boneless Turkey Tenderloin (plain - 24oz)
1 cup panko flakes
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
season to taste (I used garlic powder, onion powder, and Mrs. Dash table blend)
2 eggs
Preheat oven to 450*. In one bowl whisk together the eggs. In another bowl mix together the panko flakes, parmesan cheese, and seasonings. Cut the tenderloin in to 12 2oz slices. Dip slices in egg then lightly press in panko flake mixture until coated. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in oven for 25 minutes.
It comes out like fried chicken...except that it's not chicken and it's not fried! :drinker:
