I have a question about water and I'm sure its been posted before. I just couldn't find it. I was wondering how much water you actually should be drinking. I have always heard from my doctors at least 64 ounces but when i watch weight loss shows like Chris Powell's extreme weight loss he says half of your weight. If your seriously over weight like me that's a lot of water... What have you heard and how much water do you drink??

I drink 1.5 - 2 gallons a day of just plain water. I'd aim for a gallon a day.0

I just make sure that 80% of what I drink is water, but I don't worry about tracking it. I do coffee in the morning and tea with dinner, but the rest of the day, my travel cup is full of water. I easily get 64oz a day, more on most days, without forcing myself to drink more water on purpose.0

I don't like saying clear because that can actually lead to people drinking too much water, and clear urine can be a sign of diabetes. I'll compromise with almost clear- light yellow.0
