Cool bag lunches

Hi guys, anyone have any suggestions for healthy tasty lunches that can be kept in the cool bag for the morning? Our office has no fridge, kettle or microwave (as we have a canteen) so my options have become quite limited, or I am lacking in imagination, maybe both? Help! :)

I often have salady-type things, I eat a lot of pulses with spinach, tomatoes, cheese, and also have left overs from the night before a lot!

I know some people dont like cold versions of supper, but I frequently have stirfry, spagettti, stuffed marrow, burgers, lasagne, chilli, potatoes, all sorts from the night before. They are chilled in the fridge overnight so keep cold during the day. Hope that may be of some use :)

I usually pack sandwiches or wraps. Chicken salad, deli ham or a combo of ham and turkey with a slice of pepper jack cheese and a handful of baby romaine. Pair that with a piece of fruit and/or raw veggie sticks (carrots, celery, bell pepper, cucumbers, zucchini).

I'm also kind of weird about leftovers - I don't mind eating certain things cold.

if you have a well insulated lunch bag or one that you can put a cold pack in, the food should stay fine until you're ready to eat it.
  • Thanks guys, great suggestions....got my little lunchbox and a cool bag with cool packs so I'm good to go! :D
