I have all of Richard's DVDs and I enter them as Aerobics, general.

Edited to add: I wanted to also add that I just add it for general interest info., I don't eat my exercise calories so if I'm doing it wrong, it makes no difference....not helpful at all to your question, I know :ohwell:

Wow! It's been ages since I did that one. Me and my girlfriend used to do Sweating to the Oldies 2 all of the time, we LOVED it. I should hunt it down and do it again for old times sake. :)

I would say it is low impact aerobics.

    Good luck!

My mom and I used to do that when I was in high school...it always made me laugh but it was a good workout!
  • I would also put it under the aerobics. The ones that are with tubes or weights I would put under strength training . Oldies 2 I would put under both aerobics and strength training. I LOVE Richard Simmons and all of his tapes and never get tired of doing them because of the great music!!!

I grew up watching The Richard Simmons Show and my niece [12 years old] had no idea who this guy was until she saw the DVDs. Well...she nearly pee'd herself laughing. She thought I was nuts doing the workout. But I love them! I think he's just great!
