Here... I took some of my favorites and made a list of 112 things to do for free. 112 for each day left in this year.
1. Eat at home, make café drinks at home, make smoothies at home.
2. Re-organize iPod music library
3. Have a movie night at home instead of going out (rent the movie from the library)
4. Read all the books you have
5. Go to the library and read
6. Sell your stuff
7. Donate your stuff (takes time to organize)
8. Exercise at the gym, outside or at home
9. Play computer & video games that you already have (for me Sims 3, Zelda, & Animal Crossing)
10. Play with/ Walk / groom your pet
11. Have a picnic at the park
12. Download and read eBooks (warning: http://mnmlist.com/devices, download do not buy, unless you really want to support an author. Convert with: http://calibre-ebook.com/ if it does not come in the file type you need).
13. Go on a bike ride (I don’t have a bike nor do I know how to ride one)
14. Draw- try to fill up a sketchbook using art materials on hand
15. Write. In November participate in NaNoWriMo (that’ll take up a month of free time!)

51. Look up affordable crafting ideas for Halloween and Yule/Christmas/WhateverWinterHolidayIDon’tCare that you celebrate since it’s right around the corner. Maybe you can use things around your house. I saw a video on youtube of a woman putting cloves into oranges as a Yule decoration that scents the air. Make your own ornaments or a wreath. Things like that.
52. Have a pamper yourself day—trim, file and paint your own nails, leave conditioner in your hair for a couple hours, wear a facemask (you can make ones out of clay, honey, oatmeal maybe other food in your fridge), take a bath (if you have a bathtub you lucky *kitten*…sorry my envy is showing), clean your makeup brushes, learn how to apply makeup with youtube, moisturize your skin with oil. Learn to cut your own hair or wax your own eyebrows.
53. My friend told me to set out 2 boxes, each day put in 15 things to donate/sell and into the other box 15 things to throw away. You’ll get rid of clutter this way in no time.
54. Bake some treats.. good way to clean out your pantry
55. Do a google search on your own name or nicknames and see if you can do some ‘clean up’ LOL
56. Come up with recipes using things in your pantry
57. Learn how to make clothes and objects for the Sims 3 or Sims 2
58. Reorganize your bookshelves and eBook Library
59. Make an awesome google calendar (already do this..thought this could help others) Overlay with additional calendars that plot out your exercise routines, work, special appointments, events etc.
60. Find fun free apps and games for your phone for whatever you are into
61. Organize the files on your computer, put a new wallpaper on, reformat your hard drive
62. Write reviews on yelp, amazon, goodreads for places and products you like
63. Download and play Yoot Tower (Sim Tower) It is fun and addictive and it will take up an afternoon of your time and its free.
64. Get addicted to one of those annoying facebook games and pester all your friends for freebies and **** all day (I’m talking to you Candy Crush people)
65. Learn to play an instrument if you have one lying around.. I have an ocarina. (Yes I’m a Zelda fan can you tell??) See if you have a friend who gave up on playing an instrument and has one sitting around.
66. Go to a poetry reading and read some of your favorite poems. Have your own poetry reading.
67. Make spreadsheets of all the books, CDS/ Vinyl, Movies, Video Games that you own that way you never buy anything twice and also you can check off and evaluate which ones you don’t really want. Or you can feel more wealthy with what you have.
68. Practice divination with tools you have on hand.
69. Make runes from stones you find in nature. Oghams with branches:-)
70. Ask people if they have flower seeds/ plant clippings and potting soil sitting around and start a garden
71. Go to the park at night and pretend you’re a shadow kid and play on all the stuff
72. Read “On The Road” and “The Dharma Bums” for great ideas on how to live life without spending money. Plus you’ll be cooler in my book for reading Kerouac. Becoming cool in Sarah’s book is absolutely free.
73. Look around if you have any coupons, gift cards, groupons etc. lying around and see if you already have events planned out for you. I have tea for two (taking my aunt), 2 movie tickets, and an indoor rock climbing lesson all available to me.
74. Put all your change into coin star and have an amazon shopping spree. Or transfer directly to paypal and use on a bill. Or organize and take it to the bank in those dumb little paper things and keep your money in your pocket. OR my favorite.. organize it all and pay for something that costs over $10 completely in pennies and laugh at credit card wielding individuals without any patience while you bask in your frugal glory. Muahaha! Count extra slow for added effect.
75. Get a virtual pet.
76. Play dress up with the clothes in your closet. Maybe you can come up with a new outfit without having to buy anything new.
77. Write to people whose blogs and websites you visit and utilize frequently. Let them know how much you appreciate them. You’ll make someone’s day!
78. Write a real letter to companies whose products you buy frequently or whose ethics you admire. For example-- I sent a letter to Celestial Seasonings tea once to tell them I liked their teas in Middle School and they sent me tons of coupons, a few for entire boxes of tea for free. Many companies will do this.
79. Look for art websites online. No need to go to a gallery. Find artists you admire and post the cool pictures on your facebook to get them more viewers :-)
80. Go to free concerts/ open mic nights at cafes in your area.
81. Take a bus route for a full trip just to sight see. Maybe somewhere you haven’t been before nearby. Or to fully see your own neighborhood if you’re new there.
82. Read the labels on the food products you eat everyday. Look up the ingredients you don’t recognize. Find out the health benefits of your favorite fruits and veggies.
83. Make a list of goals. You can use a website or app to do this and check them off when you accomplish them. ie. 43things.com
84. Meal plan on a weekend, buy only the food you need and cook it all for the week. You will avoid over spending at restaurants, grocery shopping trips, and be eating better.
85. Become a neighborhood dog walker. Get in your walk, maybe earn extra money and meet people in your neighborhood.
86. Make a list of things you would do if you won the lotto. Cross out the things that absolutely need to cost money and realize you could already be doing the most important things on your list. You’re already a millionaire.
87. Perfect a skill and try to teach others this skill. Maybe you can earn money with it.

90. Meander around your local farmer’s market. Compare prices with the grocery store or view some of the events.

96. Get a girlfriend. JK girlfriends cost a lot of money. Have a romantic dinner at home if you have one.
97. Organize your e-mails. Sign up for interesting newsletters. I’m singed up for Yookoso’s Japanese Grammar a Day. Request that you stop getting newsletters from expensive retail locations that make anyone who makes less than 6 figures feel poor when they receive even sale e-mails.
98. Get into a Japanese, Korean or Chinese drama or anime and download and watch them all evening.
99. Adopt minimalism as a way of life and a virtue.
