Ok so here goes...Im 5'5' 26 year old female and I weigh 175 pounds. I want to loose another 30 pounds. In 2011 I started dieting and my starting weight was 310 pounds. I just worked out and exercised. Well now starting up again has proved to be very difficult. My myfitnespal says I should be eating 1200 cals a day which I do and I workout every day burings around 500 cals in addition to a somewhat active life style. I even eat back the calories I burn working out but Im not loosing anything!! Like nothing Im just stuck I feel extremely discouraged and I need guidance. Can anyone help me Im very dedicated to doing this but just cant seem to figure it out this time around for some reason.
Thanks all!!!
Thanks all!!!

Most people are going to say the same. You're probably overestimating calories burnt, so may be eating back too much.0

How long do you workout and how often. Also, are you measuring and weighing your food? Also, can you open your diary?0

I workout on my ellipitical at home and go by the calories it says and MFP also I walk for an hour. Also Im unsure of how to open up my dairy??0

How long have you been plateaued?
Home <-- options <--- diary settings0 -
Ive been stuck for about 3 weeks now. And I workout every day for an hour. Some days its going for a walk or somedays elliptical just depends on the day. When I do elliptical I set the resistance to the highest setting and push it out Im dripping in sweat when Im done. When I walk I try to keep up a good pace and my path is mostly uphill for resistance.0

You're probably overestimating cals burned and/or underestimating cals consumed.
Do you weigh/measure all of your food properly?
Open your food diary.0 -
always measure what I eat except for like salads I usually have a salad for lunch at work and I just search for a salad most food items I just do a search for and go with what MFP says0

I'd get a HRM to get an accurate measure of the calories you're burning.0

what is a HRM? sorry0

I don't see where you are eating back exercise calories? Most days you are barely at 900-1100 calories, which definitely isn't enough. Based on your stats, you would be better eating around 1900 calories. Fueling the body is important, especially if you are active0

Maybe it's the junk food you are eating. Change what you eat!0

oh well I try to eat back the calories0

How long have you been stuck? Stalls are a normal part of weight loss as long as it's just a few weeks.
I've been losing at 1650-1700 a day and I'm older than you (and 156 lbs now). So you should lose fine with 1650-1700 calories. I'd just make sure that you're not overestimating your calories burned and that you weigh everything you eat so you don't underestimate your calories.
I agree with everyone else though, try to eat healthier, and try to eat your calories, I'm actually not sure how you're not starving with what you're eating.0 -
Variate your cardio, do longer cardio, and start strength training 3 times a week.0

what is a HRM? sorry
Heart Rate Monitor0 -
Perhaps eat a little more for a little while and try and kick start your metabolism0

I peeked at your Diary.. I think you need to eat better quality food. And this is an interesting read on counting: http://greatist.com/health/yoni-freedhoff-count-calories
Good luck.0 -
Heart Rate Monitor. You wear it when you exercise and it tells you how many calories you've burned.
Also agree with PP, I had a look at your diary and you need to clean up your food. Way too much junk food. Ditch the junk and replace with lean protein, salad, vegies, whole grains, nuts, eggs and lean dairy.0
